Sodium fluoride is used in laundry souring, manufacturing enamels, manufacturing coated papers, wood preservative, Â foam production, opal glass, ore flotationÂ, and water fluoridation. It also acts as an inhibitor of serine/threonine phosphatases widely used in bone and dental research.
